THE ARMOUR OF GOD

Ephesian 6:10-18

be strong in the Lord and in the might of his strength.

Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil; for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against bands of wicked spirits in the heavenly regions.

Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having wrought out all things, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace; over all taking up the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; through every prayer and supplication, praying at every season in spirit, and in it being watchful in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,
